Ämin

Hi, I'm Ämin

Computer scientist, research associate at USI, former head of quantum group at IQOQI, USI CS PhD, GI-best thesis award, ETH CS graduate

I'm an academic in quantum informatics and the foundations of computer science, quantum theory, and relativity. In my research, I exploit physics for information processing, and extract the information and algorithmic essence from physical theories. I research and publish in quantum information, quantum computing, computational complexity theory, cryptography, discrete mathematics, general relativity, thermodynamics, and quantum gravity. You can find my articles on arXiv, Google Scholar, and ORCID. Moreover, I am a co-founder of the research association Facoltà Indipendente di Gandria.

Christmas paper

With Veronika Baumann and Eleftherios-Ermis Tselentis we unveil a new path to reveal the hidden potential of the quantum switch — with exiting extras.

Möbius strip in gravity

Quantum meets general relativity. In a new manuscript, we derive quantum-inspired games to certify the back-action of matter to the spacetime fabric.
